Meet Saya: The WhatsApp AI Agent Built for Experience Businesses

Most tour operator software hands you a login and a long list of screens. Then it leaves you alone with it.

That works if you love software. Most people running an experience business don't. They love the trip, the guests, the day going well. The admin is the part they put off until 11pm.

So we asked a different question. What if running your business took one message instead?

Meet Saya, the newest member of the Turpal team. She's a WhatsApp AI agent: you message her the way you'd message a colleague, and she does the work inside Turpal for you.

A WhatsApp AI agent, not a chatbot

Saya doesn't answer questions and stop there. She works on your own Turpal account, with your login and your permissions, and she gets things done. Think of her as an AI employee who already knows the system.

You can type to her, send photos, or record a voice note while you're walking between jobs. She transcribes it, works out what you need, and replies in your language.

You'll find her in two places: on WhatsApp, from your phone, and inside Turpal Connect when you're at your computer.

Here's what she handles today.

1. She builds your products

Adding a new tour or activity usually means a form with dozens of fields. With Saya, you describe it.

Send her any of these:

  • A message or voice note: "Sunset cruise, 2 hours, 250 AED per person."

  • Photos: send an album and the first photo becomes the thumbnail.

  • A link to an existing listing or catalogue page.

  • A PDF or Excel price list: each row becomes a product.

From a link or file, she creates every product she finds, up to 20 at a time, and tells you how many she found and how many she created. If a product has no price, she skips it and tells you, rather than guessing.

What you should know: Saya doesn't leave fields empty. Whatever you don't mention, such as highlights, inclusions, itinerary, what to bring, capacity and cut-off time, she writes for you with realistic detail. The product goes live straight away unless you ask for a draft.

Treat it as a strong first draft, live and yours to change. She sends you the link to manage it in Turpal Connect, and you can ask her to edit any part later.

2. She keeps your listings up to date

Prices change. A vehicle goes in for repairs. A guide calls in sick on Tuesday.

Tell Saya and she makes the change:

  • Update a price, title, description or photos

  • Add or remove a bookable option

  • Stop sale or resume sale on specific dates

  • Check what's blocked, what's available, or whether an option is still published

Rename a product and she updates the old name everywhere it appears, from the description to the itinerary to the option titles.

One thing to be careful with: deleting an option is permanent, and its rates and availability go with it.

3. She answers your booking questions

No more digging through filters to answer a simple question. Just ask:

  • "What bookings do I have today?"

  • "How many bookings came in this week?"

  • "Which tour is booked most?"

She reports status, customer, product and financials in plain language. She also knows the difference between when a booking was made and when the experience happens, which is the question that trips most people up.

4. Your AI booking assistant: she takes bookings for you

A customer calls or messages you directly. Instead of switching screens, ask Saya to book it.

She walks through it with you: the product, the date, the option and the guest's details. She confirms everything, then creates the booking and sends you two links. One is the quotation in Turpal Connect. The other is a payment link you forward to your customer.

Saya works with you, not your guests. Your customers keep dealing with you, and Saya does the admin behind the scenes.

Built for every kind of experience company

Saya isn't only for one type of business. She works for every Turpal client: tour and activity operators, travel agencies, DMCs and accommodation providers.

That's because she covers both sides of the job. Listing and editing products is the supplier's work. Taking a booking and sending a payment link is the reseller's work. Saya does both.

Still want a person? Just ask

Saya is part of a team, not a replacement for one. If she notices you're frustrated, she lets our Operations team know and keeps helping. If you ask for a human, she gives you our support contact straight away.

How to start with Saya

On WhatsApp:

  1. Open WhatsApp and message Saya.

  2. Send /start.

  3. Send the email and password you use for your Turpal account.

That's it. She remembers your session in that chat. Send /start again any time to log out and start fresh.

On your computer: log in to Turpal Connect and open Saya there.
